Iran Again Launches Drone Strikes on U.S. Troop Base in Kuwait
Iranian forces have again launched drone attacks on Kuwait, targeting U.S. troops based at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. According to Al Jazeera and AFP on Thursday, 5 March 2026, Iran said it had launched drones at the U.S. base at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. The report was conveyed by the semi-official Tasnim News Agency.
Iran also struck Camp Udairi, where U.S. troops are stationed. Iranian combat drones were launched. “Naval drone units of the armed forces targeted the Camp Udairi location of U.S. troops in Kuwait using combat drones,” the military said in a statement carried by state television.
Camp Buehring, previously known as Udairi, is the main U.S. military facility in north-west Kuwait.
Earlier, as has been noted, the IRGC said it had sent “a new wave of attacks” to Arifjan Base. The base is said to host U.S. troops in Kuwait.
According to Al Jazeera, on Tuesday (3 March), the IRGC said it attacked the base with 10 drones. They claim the drones successfully hit their targets.
At present, there has been no comment from Kuwait or the United States regarding the attack.
