FLAG RAISING CEREMONY: Executives and employees of British company Premier Oil Natuna Sea BV, the operator of the offshore Block A oil field in the West Natuna Sea, salute the Indonesian national flag at a flag-raising ceremony at the company's office in Jakarta to commemorate Indonesian independence. Vice President for General Affairs Santosa Kosasih, who led the ceremony, read out the written speech of the chief of BPMIGAS, the Indonesian government petroleum-resource regulator, Kardaya Warnika, on the occasion. The oil company, a major oil production sharing contractor (PSCs) in the country, also held a similar ceremony at its operations site in the West Natuna Sea on Aug.17 to celebrate the 60th Independence Day.
