iPhone Duo Deliveries Expected to Be Delayed After ‘Extraordinary’ Demand
Jakarta (ANTARA) – Delivery of the iPhone Duo is expected to be delayed after orders for Apple’s first foldable phone proved “extraordinary” during the pre-order period, according to the company.
After pre-orders for the iPhone Duo opened on Friday (16 October), Apple described demand for the device as “extraordinary” in a statement to CNBC.
With orders for the device running high, delivery estimates for iPhone Duo orders in the United States are expected to extend to January 2027, Engadget reported on Saturday (17 October).
Apple nevertheless told CNBC that it was working hard to deliver iPhone Duo orders to buyers as quickly as possible, and that online ordering remained open.
Some consumers have shared their ordering experiences and estimated delivery dates for their devices on digital platforms.
Some said they were scheduled to collect their iPhone Duo from an Apple Store as early as 23 October 2026, while others were given delivery estimates in November and December 2026.
There was also an in-store collection option labelled: “Check back on 24 October for availability.”
Apple had previously said the iPhone Duo would be available in physical and online stores. However, the company has not confirmed its availability at official outlets or authorised retail partners.
Third-party retailer Best Buy’s website lists an estimated iPhone Duo delivery date in November 2026.
