Prices for older iPhone series have risen significantly following the launch of the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Duo. This was reported by The Verge, which monitored price increases in the United States market of up to US$100 (approximately Rp1.7 million) for several lines.

Despite the launch of its newest devices, Apple emphasised that its latest products would be maintained at the same price levels as the previous generation. For instance, the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 remain at US$399 (around Rp6.9 million) and US$799 (around Rp14 million) respectively, identical to their predecessors.

However, it appears that older iPhone models have actually seen price hikes. According to investigations by The Verge, Apple has quietly increased the prices of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 series. This move has effectively brought the iPhone 16 back to a starting price of US$799 (around Rp14 million), jumping from its previous discounted price of US$699 (around Rp12 million), returning to the launch price seen in 2024.

A similar increase has affected the iPhone 17 line. The entry-level iPhone 17e, which launched earlier this year at US$599 (around Rp10.5 million), has been replaced by a new range starting from US$699 (around Rp12.2 million). Meanwhile, the 256GB variant of the iPhone 17 has risen to US$899 (around Rp15.7 million) from its previous US$799 (around Rp14 million). The iPhone Air model is now officially priced starting from US$1,099 (around Rp19.2 million), up from its initial US$999 (around Rp17.5 million).
