iPhone 17 Becomes Apple's Most Popular Smartphone in Q2 2026

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Apple reported that the iPhone 17 lineup became the most popular smartphone in the second quarter of 2026, while also significantly driving the company’s financial performance. According to a report from GSM Arena on Friday (1/5), in its financial report for the period ending 28 March 2026, Apple recorded revenue of $111.2 billion, representing a 17% growth compared to the same period the previous year. The released models from the iPhone 17 lineup are the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone 17e. Apple noted double-digit growth in iPhone sales in several major markets, including the United States, Western Europe, India, Japan, China, and Southeast Asia. Apple CEO Tim Cook stated that this March quarter marked the company’s best performance in history, as iPhone sales set a record high for the period. Additionally, Apple’s services segment also reached a record high. Apple CFO Kevan Parekh revealed that the company generated operational cash flow exceeding $28 billion in that quarter. He also mentioned that the iPhone 17 has the potential to increase Apple’s market share in various regions. In addition to the iPhone, other product lines such as Mac recorded revenue of $8.4 billion; iPad at $6.9 billion; and wearables, home, and accessories at $7.9 billion.
