Jakarta – Logistics activity in early Ramadan continues to show positive momentum across IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) operational areas. Through February 2026, the company recorded container traffic of 600,416 TEUs, up 8.7 per cent compared with the same period last year.

On a monthly basis, IPC TPK’s container traffic performance in February 2026 also demonstrated positive trends. The company recorded 300,525 TEUs in container traffic, growing 10.6 per cent compared with February 2025, which reached 271,521 TEUs. This achievement reflects sustained logistics activity across the company’s various operational areas in the early part of the year.

Pramestie Wulandary, Corporate Secretary of IPC TPK, stated that the company continues to strengthen terminal operations to ensure smooth container traffic flow, particularly during the Ramadan period and ahead of the Lebaran holiday break.

“We also support cargo transport restrictions policy by adjusting our operational patterns and encouraging service users to schedule container pickup and delivery activities earlier,” said Pramestie in a written statement on Friday, 13 March 2026.

According to her, IPC TPK continues to optimise terminal facilities and improve the productivity of cargo handling equipment across various operational areas.

Additionally, the company has strengthened the implementation of occupational health and safety (OHS) practices to ensure all operational activities run safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

The largest contribution to container traffic continues to come from terminals in the Tanjung Priok area. Through February 2026, container traffic at Tanjung Priok 1 reached 208,198 TEUs, increasing approximately 14 per cent compared with the same period last year, which reached 182,727 TEUs.

Meanwhile, Tanjung Priok 2 recorded 286,613 TEUs in container traffic, growing 6.9 per cent compared with last year’s achievement of 268,127 TEUs.

Positive performance was also recorded at several IPC TPK terminals outside Jakarta. Through February 2026, container traffic in the Pontianak area reached 43,550 TEUs, up approximately 4.9 per cent compared with the same period last year, which recorded 41,504 TEUs.

In the Panjang area, container traffic reached 20,660 TEUs, growing 20.9 per cent compared with last year’s figure of 17,075 TEUs. Meanwhile, the Teluk Bayur area recorded 18,561 TEUs in container traffic, up 7.8 per cent compared with the same period last year of 17,220 TEUs.

“This growth in container traffic demonstrates sustained logistics activity across our various operational areas,” explained Pramestie.
