PT IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) recorded container throughput of 1,817,738 TEUs in the first half of 2026, a 7% increase compared to the same period last year, which reached 1,698,339 TEUs. The increase reflects growing domestic and international trade activity served by the company at a number of container terminals. “This growth achievement is the fruit of the company’s consistency in implementing operational strategies focused on safety, service speed, and efficiency at every terminal,” said IPC TPK Senior Manager of Secretariat, Daniel Setiawan, in a statement in Jakarta on Friday, 17 July 2026. Daniel said throughput growth in the first half of this year was driven by increased loading and unloading activity at several main terminals managed by the company. Terminal Panjang in Lampung was the highest growth contributor, with a throughput increase of 17.4% compared to the first half of 2025. Furthermore, Tanjung Priok Terminal recorded 7.9% growth and Pontianak Terminal increased by 3.8%. These three terminals were the main contributors to the increase in IPC TPK’s container flow during the first six months of this year. In addition to recording cumulative growth, the company’s operational performance also showed a positive monthly trend. In June 2026, IPC TPK’s throughput reached 325,017 TEUs, an increase of 11.5% compared to June of the previous year, which was recorded at 291,465 TEUs. During that period, Terminal Panjang again became the terminal with the highest growth, at 73.7%. Meanwhile, throughput at Tanjung Priok Terminal increased by 10.8% and Palembang Terminal grew by 9.9% compared to the same period the previous year. According to the company, the increase in container flow reflects heightened logistics and goods distribution activity in various IPC TPK operational areas. This performance also demonstrates the company’s ability to maintain smooth loading and unloading services amidst rising demand for port services. Daniel added that the performance achievement in the first half of this year coincides with the commemoration of IPC TPK’s 13th anniversary. “This growth momentum in mid-2026 is also a wonderful gift in welcoming IPC TPK’s 13th anniversary. In line with our anniversary theme this year, ‘13 Years of Excellence: Elevating Operational Standards & Service Quality’, we hope this positive achievement spurs the spirit of all corporate personnel to continue raising operational standards and improving service quality,” he said.
