IPC TPK Container Traffic Grows 8 Percent Through July 2026
IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) has again recorded a positive operational performance trend, posting a cumulative year-on-year container traffic growth of 8 percent for the January to July 2026 period. The growth was driven by service optimisation and efficiency across all of the company’s operational areas. The container traffic volume reached 2,171,192 TEUs in the first seven months of 2026, an increase compared to 2,009,185 TEUs in the same period the previous year. “This positive achievement is the result of IPC TPK’s ongoing commitment to maintaining operational excellence and strengthening synergy with service users,” said Daniel Setiawan, Senior Manager of Corporate Secretariat at IPC TPK, in a statement on Friday (14/8/2026). This performance growth aligns with a significant increase in July 2026, which saw a 13.7 percent year-on-year rise with container traffic reaching 353,465 TEUs, compared to 310,846 TEUs in July 2025. The growth was supported by optimal performance at several terminals during July 2026. The highest surge was recorded by Terminal Teluk Bayur at 30.8 percent, followed by Terminal Panjang at 29.1 percent, Terminal Tanjung Priok at 15.2 percent, and Terminal Jambi which rose by 6 percent.
