IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) recorded container throughput of 2.17 million TEUs through July 2026, an increase of 8 percent compared with the same period last year, thanks to optimisation of operational services.

“IPC TPK has again posted a positive operational performance trend by recording cumulative year-on-year container throughput growth of 8 percent in the January to July 2026 period,” said IPC TPK Corporate Secretariat Senior Manager Daniel Setiawan in a statement in Jakarta on Saturday.

He said the growth was driven by service optimisation and efficiency across all terminal working areas.

He noted that container throughput volume managed to reach 2,171,202 TEUs in the first seven months of 2026, up from 2,009,185 TEUs in the same period the previous year.

“This positive achievement is the result of IPC TPK’s ongoing commitment to maintaining operational excellence and strengthening synergy with service users,” he said.

According to him, the performance growth is in line with a significant improvement in July 2026, which grew 13.7 percent year-on-year with container throughput of 353,465 TEUs, compared with 310,846 TEUs in July 2025.

The growth was supported by optimal performance at a number of terminals in July 2026. The highest surge was recorded by Terminal Teluk Bayur at 30.8 percent, followed by Terminal Panjang at 29.1 percent, Terminal Tanjung Priok at 15.2 percent, and Terminal Jambi, which rose 6 percent.

Through operational integration and port system efficiency across all terminals, IPC TPK continues to ensure service efficiency for service users. Acceleration of loading and unloading services consistently remains the main focus to ensure smooth national supply chains and Indonesia’s logistics competitiveness.

“We hope this achievement can continue to be a source of motivation for the entire IPC TPK team to consistently maintain service quality, improve operational efficiency, and sustain the positive performance trend,” said Daniel.
