IPC TPK Container Throughput Grows 7 Percent in First Half of 2026

PT IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) recorded container throughput of 1,817,738 TEUs in the first half of 2026, an increase of 7 per cent compared with the same period last year, which reached 1,698,339 TEUs. The rise reflects growing logistics activity as well as domestic and international trade served by the company.

Daniel Setiawan, Senior Manager of the Corporate Secretariat at IPC TPK, said the growth was supported by the company’s consistency in improving operational efficiency and service quality across all of its terminals.

“This growth achievement is the result of an operational strategy focused on safety, speed of service, and efficiency at every terminal,” Daniel said in a statement in Jakarta on Friday (17/7/2026).

According to him, the increase in container flow in the first half was driven by rising loading and unloading activity at a number of key terminals.

Terminal Panjang in Lampung was the highest growth contributor, with throughput rising 17.4 per cent compared with the first half of 2025. Tanjung Priok Terminal recorded growth of 7.9 per cent, while Pontianak Terminal increased by 3.8 per cent.

On a monthly basis, IPC TPK’s operational performance also showed a positive trend. In June 2026, container flow reached 325,017 TEUs, up 11.5 per cent from June 2025, which was recorded at 291,465 TEUs.
