IPB University: Republika Award Spurs Greater Contribution to Society

IPB University believes that the ‘The Most Impactful Islamic Business School’ award from the Republika Sharia Awards (ASR) 2026 will spur the campus to increase its contribution to society, particularly through the development of sharia economics. The award was received at the Anugerah Syariah Republika 2026 event held in Jakarta on Wednesday (1/7/2026). Acting Rector of IPB University Dr. Heti Mulyati stated that the recognition serves as encouragement for IPB University to continue expanding its contribution to the advancement of knowledge and societal progress. ‘We express our deepest gratitude for the appreciation given by Republika,’ said Heti. The Anugerah Syariah Republika 2026 was held to honour industry players, institutions, and figures deemed successful in driving the growth of the national sharia economy. This year’s event carried the theme ‘Sharia for All: Beyond Profit, Toward Purpose’, emphasising the importance of delivering social benefits through the development of the sharia economy.
