IPB celebrates 34th birthday

BOGOR (JP): The Bogor Agriculture Institute is holding a month-long celebration of its 34th anniversary, which fell yesterday.

Soleh Solahuddin, the institute's rector, kicked off the celebration with the presentation of his paper on Indonesia's fishery sector yesterday.

The celebration, including an international seminar, exhibition, fishing contest, birth singing competition and ornamental fish festival, will continue until Oct. 5.

Four ministers, including Coordinating Minister for Political Affairs and Security Soesilo Soedarman, are scheduled to present their papers at the seminar. (24)
