Bogor Regency (ANTARA) - Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) University has emphasised its commitment to addressing the alleged sexual harassment case within the student environment, prioritising protection for the affected parties. He explained that the IPB Campus Security, Safety, and Protection Management Office (KMKKPK) is currently handling the alleged case through several stages. He said the handling of this case refers to IPB University Rector’s Regulation No. 45 of 2025 on Student Life Rules as the basis for processing the alleged violation. In addition, IPB is committed to providing support to affected parties as part of efforts to create a safe and conducive campus environment. “Developments in handling this case will be communicated periodically in line with the ongoing process, while still maintaining principles of caution and justice,” Alfian said. The alleged sexual harassment case at IPB University campus has come under public scrutiny following the widespread circulation on social media of screenshots of vulgar student conversations in a WhatsApp group.
