Ion Exchange Expands HYDRAMEM® Membrane Solutions Globally Through Strategic Technology Partnership with MANN+HUMMEL
Mumbai, India & Ludwigsburg, Germany–(ANTARA/Business Wire)– Ion Exchange (India) Ltd, a leading global provider of total water and environment management solutions, together with MANN+HUMMEL, a world-leading company in filtration technology and intelligent separation solutions, has announced a strategic partnership in technology transfer and manufacturing for the production of advanced PVDF Ultrafiltration (UF) membranes with integrated UltraSKID systems, as well as strategic technology transfer for Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR) solutions to India.
This partnership combines MANN+HUMMEL Water & Membrane Solutions’ global expertise in membrane technology with Ion Exchange’s robust manufacturing capabilities, technical strengths, and established presence in providing water and wastewater treatment solutions in international markets.
Under the agreement, Ion Exchange will manufacture, integrate systems, and market hollow fibre PVDF ultrafiltration membranes along with integrated UltraSKID systems based on MANN+HUMMEL’s advanced technology. Production will take place at Ion Exchange’s expanded and state-of-the-art HYDRAMEM® membrane manufacturing facility in Goa, India, to meet domestic and international demand.
This partnership further strengthens Ion Exchange’s HYDRAMEM® solutions to offer an integrated portfolio of membrane-based technologies, including Ultrafiltration (UF), Reverse Osmosis (RO), and Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) systems. By combining global technology with local manufacturing, the partnership aims to improve supply resilience, reduce lead times, and deliver advanced membrane solutions more efficiently to customers worldwide.
