Investor Interest in Tokenised Assets Grows, Trading Volume Up 45 Per Cent
PT Pintu Kemana Saja (Pintu) recorded a 45 per cent increase in trading volume per user in February 2026, driven by growing investor interest in tokenised assets on its cryptocurrency investment platform. This surge coincided with cumulative user growth of 9.18 per cent compared to the previous month, according to Head of Product Marketing Iskandar Mohammad.
“Based on internal data, the tokenised asset category in the Pintu application demonstrated significant performance in February 2026. Trading volume per user increased 45 per cent compared to the previous month,” Iskandar said in a written statement on Monday (16 March).
Pintu currently offers more than 30 tokenised assets enabling Indonesian users to trade various global instruments including stocks, Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), and commodities such as gold and silver in cryptocurrency form through the application.
According to Iskandar, the expanding range of tokenised assets provides users with flexibility to continue productive investment across global market sectors even amid cryptocurrency market fluctuations. He identified the three most actively traded assets as NVDAx (NVIDIA), AAPLx (Apple), and GOOGLx (Google), indicating strong investor interest in global technology stocks.
Beyond providing access to global shares, tokenised assets enable investors to diversify their portfolios within a single application, encompassing not only cryptocurrency but also tokenised assets such as stocks, ETFs, and commodities.
The tokenised asset trend continues to demonstrate global growth. According to Tokenizer Estate News data as of 9 March 2026, the Real World Asset (RWA) market reached US$26.54 billion, representing an increase of 2.20 per cent compared to the previous week. Asset holder numbers are also increasing with over 663,000 wallets recorded holding tokenised assets, indicating rising technology adoption across various countries.
Iskandar said tokenised assets are now increasingly viewed as an investment alternative enabling investors to access various asset classes through blockchain technology.
He noted that cryptocurrency investors in Indonesia are becoming more selective in choosing investment instruments whilst considering portfolio diversification strategies. Through expanding tokenised assets on its platform, Pintu hopes to provide Indonesian citizens with easier access to invest in various global assets through a single application that is secure and supervised by the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
“We hope the community can utilise this opportunity wisely and understand the potential investment diversification available,” Iskandar concluded.
