In Jakarta the securities industry is strengthening its strategy to develop human resources for investors to face the dynamics of a global market that is changing rapidly. Education and literacy in the capital market are seen as key so that investors can read opportunities as well as manage risks. One of the efforts is through the Investor Gathering and Corporate Forum 2026, themed ‘Capturing Early Opportunities in the Global Market Shift’, which was held on Thursday 5 March 2026. The event was attended by around 350 investors. The series of events began with the Corporate Forum, featuring three asset managers and three issuers outlining market conditions and business prospects. This forum connects investors with industry players so investors gain a broader picture of the dynamics of the capital market. Irvan Susandy, Director of Trading and Market Regulation at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), said BEI, together with OJK and self-regulatory organisation (SRO), continue to strengthen reforms to the integrity of the capital market. The effort is conducted through increasing transparency of share ownership, the quality of listed companies, and market deepening. Irvan said the main challenge at present is to maintain and defend investor confidence across market conditions because confidence is the foundation of the capital market. ‘Without confidence, liquidity will fall; without liquidity, market efficiency will be disrupted,’ Irvan said in a press release received on Friday 6 March 2026. Susy Meilina, Chief Executive Officer of MNC Sekuritas, said the annual event is a moment for investors to broaden their horizons and strengthen their network amid a market that is becoming increasingly dynamic. Susy regards the capital market not merely as movements of indices or financial statements, but also as a space for Indonesian companies to grow and for people to share in the growth of the economy. ‘The capital market is where the growth dreams of Indonesian companies live, where the public becomes part of the nation’s growth,’ Susy said. Currently, MNC Sekuritas has 166 points of sale comprising 32 branches, 9 BEI representative offices, and 137 investment galleries across various regions of Indonesia. The company also collaborates with nearly 40 asset managers and provides more than 170 mutual fund products through the MotionTrade stock trading app.
