Investment Realization in Indonesia Increased in 2025, New Record High - Databoks

According to data from the Ministry of Investment and Downstream Industry/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), the investment realization in Indonesia in 2025 reached Rp1,931.17 trillion.

That figure consists of domestic investment (PMDN) of Rp1,030.31 trillion and foreign investment (PMA) of Rp900.85 trillion.

The combined investment realization of PMDN and PMA during 2025 grew by 12.66% year-on-year (yoy).

The achievement in 2025 also set a new record high, as can be seen in the graph.

In 2025, the largest investment realization of PMDN went into the transportation, warehouse, and telecommunications sectors, reaching Rp158.58 trillion.

Meanwhile, the largest PMA investment went into the basic metal industry sector, metal goods, not machinery and equipment, amounting to Rp234.40 trillion.
