Investment Realization by Business Sector in Indonesia Q2 2026
According to a report from the Ministry of Investment and Downstream Industry/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), investment in Indonesia during the second quarter of 2026 reached Rp511.78 trillion.
This figure consists of Rp257.70 trillion in foreign direct investment (FDI) and Rp254.09 trillion in domestic direct investment (DDI).
By sector, the primary metals industry, metal goods, excluding machinery and equipment, recorded the largest investment, amounting to Rp81 trillion or 15.83% of total investment.
This was followed by the transportation, warehousing, and telecommunications sectors with Rp57.27 trillion, and the mining sector with Rp53.06 trillion.
Finally, the other services sector attracted investments of Rp49.74 trillion. This sector includes computer repair businesses, household goods repair, and various personal service activities not covered by other sectors.

Housing, industrial parks, and offices: Rp37.79 trillion

Chemical and pharmaceutical industries: Rp22.80 trillion
Food industry: Rp22.67 trillion
Construction: Rp15.19 trillion
Food crops, plantations, and livestock: Rp15 trillion
Motor vehicle and other transportation industries: Rp12.70 trillion
Industries of machinery, electronics, medical instruments, electrical equipment, precision, optics, and watches: Rp11.43 trillion
Hotels and restaurants: Rp10.26 trillion
Paper and printing industries: Rp10.20 trillion
Rubber and plastic industries: Rp8.51 trillion
Leather goods and footwear industries: Rp8.46 trillion
Wood industries: Rp8.06 trillion
