Investment Realisation Reaches Rp477.7 Trillion in Second Quarter of 2025
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of Investment and Downstream Industries/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Perkasa Roeslani revealed that investment realisation in the second quarter of this year reached Rp477.7 trillion.
"The second quarter 2025 realisation figure stands at Rp477.7 trillion. This represents an 11.5 per cent increase from the same period last year, which was Rp428.4 trillion," said Rosan at a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Investment realisation in the second quarter also surpassed the first quarter 2025 figure of Rp465.2 trillion.
Employment generated from investment inflows during the second quarter reached 665,764 workers.
"This is the employment created from investment in the second quarter alone," said Rosan.
Foreign direct investment (PMA) contributed Rp202.2 trillion in the second quarter of 2025, whilst domestic direct investment (PMDN) contributed Rp275.5 trillion.
Investment realisation in Java during the second quarter totalled Rp237.5 trillion, whilst areas outside Java accounted for Rp240.2 trillion.
The top five locations for both foreign and domestic investment realisation in the second quarter were West Java, DKI Jakarta, East Java, Central Sulawesi and Banten.
