Investment Minister Rosan Roeslani Hosts Eid Open House Attended by Ministers and Business Figures
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Investment and Downstreaming Minister/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Chairman Rosan Roeslani held an open house at his residence on Jl Widya Chandra, South Jakarta. The event, held on the second day of Eid al-Fitr, Tuesday, 1 April 2025, at 15:00 Western Indonesian Time, was attended by a range of ministers and business figures.
One notable attendee was Gerindra Party Secretary General Ahmad Muzani. The politician, who also serves as Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR), stayed the longest among all guests. According to Tempo's observations, Muzani arrived at approximately 17:00 and left nearly two hours later, when the sky had already turned dark.
Escorted by Rosan, Muzani left the residence of the Danantara Investment Management Agency chief without uttering a word to the media.
Rosan said his meeting with Muzani and other guests did not involve any discussion of politics or state programmes. He also stated that Muzani carried no special message from President Prabowo Subianto.
"The point is, I am grateful that today many friends, companions, and colleagues came. And our conversations were relaxed — nothing heavy was discussed," he said.
Besides Muzani, Rosan's partner at Danantara, Pandu Sjahrir, was also present at the Eid gathering. Pandu said there was no discussion about Danantara during the occasion. "Nothing at all. It's Eid — just eating, that's all," Pandu said as he got into his car.
In addition to Ahmad Muzani and Pandu Sjahrir, a number of other Advanced Indonesia Cabinet ministers were seen coming and going in turns. Among them were Housing and Settlement Minister Maruarar Sirait; Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono; Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana; Migrant Worker Protection Minister Abdul Kadir Karding; Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefky Harsya; and National Development Planning Minister (PPN/Bappenas) Rachmat Pambudy.
Also present were Transmigration Minister Iftitah Sulaiman; Deputy Trade Minister Dyah Roro Esti Widya Putri; Deputy BKPM Minister Todotua Pasaribu; and National Nutrition Agency Head Dadan Hidayana.
