On 23 July 2026, Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani reported to President Prabowo Subianto an achievement that can be interpreted as bureaucratic efficiency: more than 250 state-owned enterprises will be streamlined before the month’s end. A few days earlier, four state-owned investment management companies—Mandiri Manajemen Investasi, BRI Manajemen Investasi, BNI Asset Management, and PNM Investment Management—signed a share sale and purchase agreement that will merge them into a single giant entity with assets under management exceeding Rp170 trillion.
