Investment Fraud Victims Can Report to These 3 Assistance Posts
PT Bank Mandiri Taspen has opened three complaint posts to assist customers who are victims of an alleged investment fraud perpetrated by a former employee with the initials N alias D in Banyumas Regency, Central Java. Distribution Head for Central Java and Yogyakarta, I Putu Agus Sinom Artawan, stated in Purwokerto that the establishment of these posts reflects the company’s commitment to providing support and services to affected customers. ‘Bank Mandiri Taspen has proactively opened three posts to help investment fraud victims. We want to ensure every customer complaint is received and followed up promptly,’ he said on Friday. The three posts are located at the Bank Mandiri Taspen Purwokerto Branch Office, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) office, and the Banyumas City Police headquarters. He explained that having posts in these three locations is intended to make it easier for customers to file reports or obtain information regarding the ongoing case handling. To support the posts’ operations, Bank Mandiri Taspen has assigned ten personnel specifically tasked with assisting customers, from receiving complaints and collecting data to providing information on the steps victims need to take. ‘Our officers will record all incoming complaints and follow them up as quickly as possible according to applicable procedures. We strive to provide the best service to affected customers,’ he said. The bank is also continuously coordinating with regulators and law enforcement to support the case handling process and ensure customers’ rights are given due attention. In addition to opening the posts, the bank urged customers to submit complaints through official channels so that the verification and follow-up process can be carried out optimally. Sinom affirmed that Bank Mandiri Taspen will be cooperative in supporting the investigation and providing assistance to affected customers. The case allegedly involves N alias D, a former employee of Bank Mandiri Taspen Purwokerto Branch, who is suspected of offering investment schemes to a number of customers and members of the public with promises of certain returns.
