Investigation into Febrio Adiono's Death Continues, Upcoming Agenda Revealed
The Metro Jaya Regional Police will interrogate Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) official Febrio Adiono as one of the parties summoned for questioning regarding the investigation into the suspicious death of Sutrimmu, which occurred in front of a clinic in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta.
“Yes, one of them (Febrio) will be investigated,” said the Head of Public Relations for Metro Jaya Regional Police, Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto, at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters in Jakarta on Wednesday (2/9).
Budi stated that investigators will examine several individuals in stages to deepen the investigation into the case. However, Budi did not provide specific details regarding Febrio’s position or connection to the Sutrimo case, nor did he specify when the interrogation would take place.
According to Budi, the examination of various parties is part of the investigators’ efforts to collect and analyse information related to the case.
Furthermore, the Metro Jaya Regional Police investigators are still awaiting the results of the Forensic Laboratory (Labfor) examination, which will serve as a critical component in the development of the case.
Budi noted that the results from the Forensic Laboratory are expected to be released in the near future. The findings will be presented by forensic doctors, a collegial team of forensic specialists, and the Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Regional Police.
“The results from the Labfor will be out shortly. They will be presented by the Labfor doctors, the collegial forensic team, and the Director of General Criminal Investigation,” said Budi.
The forensic examination process requires time due to the large number of samples that must be analysed. He added that the legal team representing the Sutrimo family has approached investigators to request an update on the case through the Investigation Result Notification Letter (SP2HP).
“The legal team for the Sutrimo family also attended to request an update via the SP2HP, including further developments on this case,” said Budi.
During the meeting, the legal team also submitted a request to investigators regarding personal belongings related to Sutrimo. “We wish to clarify that the General Criminal Investigation Directorate does not hold personal items such as mobile phones,” Budi stated.
In addition to the issue of personal belongings, the family, through their legal counsel, also provided several names of individuals they hope will be questioned to deepen the investigation.
Previously, the Metro Jaya Regional Police had interrogated 27 witnesses to uncover the cause of death of the head of the household, who also served as a guard for the house of the former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Febrie Adriansyah.
