Introducing Vera Rubin: Nvidia's New 'Goldmine' Worth Rp 3.4 Quadrillion

AI chip maker Nvidia appears to have not run out of steam in its bid to dominate the global technology industry.

After years of dominating the market with graphics cards and AI chips, Nvidia’s CEO and founder Jensen Huang recently boasted that the company has discovered a new ‘goldmine’ it has yet to tap into.

During Q1 2027 earnings call, Huang claimed the new market opportunity is worth $200 billion (approximately Rp 3.4 quadrillion).

Vera CPU is an integral part of Nvidia’s next-generation AI computing architecture named Vera Rubin. Designed as the successor to Blackwell, the platform is not a single chip but an AI ‘supercomputer’ ecosystem.
