Internet financial service

JAKARTA (JP): American financial information provider Bridge Information System, in cooperation with local Internet provider PT IndoInternet, launched on Monday an internet-based financial and market data service.

Bridge country manager for Indonesia Mohd. Raihan said the service, indo.net/exchange, provided real time reports on more than 175 equities, tracked portfolios and gave multidimensional evaluations of earnings, price sales, earnings growth and dividend yields.

"It provides real time and historical data, including in-depth equity research and 24-hour news and analysis from BridgeNews," he said.

IndoInternet president Sanjaya said the target market for the service was medium-sized companies and individual investors, particularly those living outside Jakarta.

"We hope to get 500 subscribers by the end of the year," he said, adding that non-IndoInternet subscribers could also use the service.

The Windows-based service offers three different packages to cover the Indonesian, Singaporean, Hong Kong, Pacific Rim, American and European markets. (cst)
