The INTERNATIONAL Islamic Expo (IIE) 2026 will be held once again on 26-28 June at Hall A, Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Senayan, Jakarta. The transaction target for the gathering of global stakeholders, halal tourism industry players, Umrah and Hajj operators, Islamic finance, and the broader sharia economy sector is approximately Rp115 billion.
“We are targeting transactions at IIE 2026 of around Rp115 billion. This figure represents an increase from last year’s transactions of about Rp103 billion,” said Mutia Andriastuti, Managing Director of Alia Kreasindo Mandiri, in Jakarta on Wednesday (10/6).
The Ministry of Tourism, as host, is providing support and has warmly welcomed the staging of the International Islamic Expo 2026 as a strategic forum to drive the growth of the national halal tourism sector while strengthening Indonesia’s competitiveness in the global market. The exhibition is being attended by participants from various countries across Southeast Asia, East Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
According to Mutia, a range of excellent products for Muslim travel, Hajj, and Umrah will be showcased, spanning flights, hotels, visa providers, travel insurance, transport, and Hajj and Umrah catering, whilst also introducing various international travel destinations that are shaping the future of Islamic tourism and the wider halal ecosystem. At this year’s event, Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) is returning as the official Banking Partner of the International Islamic Expo 2026.
As part of this support, BSI is offering a number of special deals for exhibition visitors. “The offers we are providing include discounts of up to Rp3 million and 0% instalments for up to 24 months with the BSI Hasanah Card, as well as discounts of up to Rp750,000 with a VISA-branded BSI Debit card,” explained Rima Dwi Permatasari, SVP Islamic Ecosystem of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk.
