JAKARTA (JP): TRB Group, a private computer systems firm,
introduced here yesterday an interactive TV system designed to
improve hotels' services.

The Group's managing director, Yanti Riawati, said the system,
dubbed GuestServe, was the latest in multimedia systems in the
United States.

She said the system combined TVs and PCs, and would turn hotel
rooms' TV sets into central communications facilities between
hotel managements and guests.

The system offers video, games, music on demand, information
and facilities related to room service, guest surveys, accounts
and message reviews, express check-out, Internet, e-mail and in-
room electronic shopping. (icn)
