Interactive Concept, Semarak Jembrana 2026 Officially Opens
The series of events commemorating the 131st anniversary of Kota Negara has officially begun. This was marked by the opening of the Semarak Jembrana 2026 Exhibition in the car park of the Jembrana Regent’s Office on Friday (14/8/2026).
The Semarak Jembrana 2026 Exhibition is designed with an interactive concept and will run for a full 10 days until 23 August. The exhibition presents a variety of activities such as live cooking, live mural and live painting, live photography, and live vlogging.
Jembrana Regent I Made Kembang Hartawan said the exhibition serves as a strategic platform to connect the work of the local community with a wider market. Kembang assessed that the exhibition is also an opportunity for MSME players in Jembrana to build networks.
“Through this activity, local business players can introduce their products, build networks, and open up cooperation opportunities. We hope that the 131st anniversary of Kota Negara will not merely stop at ceremony, but will be able to drive the people’s economy,” said Kembang in his speech on Friday.
This year’s event presents various superior MSME products, handicrafts, local culinary specialities, the creative economy sector, as well as job fair services to absorb local labour. The exhibition area is further enlivened by traditional art performances and appearances from local Jembrana musicians.
Regent Kembang invited the entire community to actively purchase local Jembrana products. He also encouraged residents to give the highest appreciation to the artists, communities, and younger generation who continue to create.
In addition to advancing the economic and creative sectors, Kembang said the Semarak Jembrana 2026 Exhibition is also an important momentum for the preservation of regional cultural identity. The Jembrana Regency Government, he said, has launched the use of the Cepaka Putih flora mascot in traditional Balinese dress.
“On this occasion, we are simultaneously launching the use of the Cepaka Putih mascot in traditional Balinese dress. This launch is one of the steps to introduce Cepaka Putih more widely and bring it closer to the lives of the community, especially the younger generation,” he added.
At the opening, Kembang was accompanied by drg Ani Setiawarini. Also present were Deputy Regent I Gede Ngurah Patriana Krisna, members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), regional apparatus organisations (OPD), as well as community figures from Jembrana.
