Intel opens office here

JAKARTA (JP): The chip maker Intel Corporation of the United
States announced yesterday it will open a representative office
here.

"The establishment of the sales and marketing office is aimed
to serve Indonesia's personal computer market as well as our
costumer here," Intel's Asia-Pacific region manager, Rob
Eckelmann, said in a statement.

The company said that it has appointed Werner Sutanto as
country manager. (04)
