Integration of Three Brands Drives Ecosystem Model in Building Materials Industry

The national building materials industry is beginning to move towards an ecosystem-based business model, in line with the increasing need for efficiency and integration in construction projects. This direction is reflected in the steps taken by Quadra, Roman, and Kanmuri to strengthen synergy between brands at the ARCH:ID 2026 event in ICE BSD City.

This strengthening of collaboration demonstrates a shift in strategy among industry players, from a single-product approach to providing more integrated material solutions. This model is seen as capable of meeting the needs of construction players who desire a more streamlined procurement process and consistent design results.

Quadra and Roman leader Willie Low assessed that integration between brands is an important step to respond to increasingly complex market dynamics. He stated that this synergy allows customers to obtain various material needs within a connected ecosystem.

“When customers, contractors, developers, architects, or designers enter a group that has these three brands, they can get everything from one source,” said Willie based on a press release received by Republika.co.id on Thursday (24/4/2026).

From fragmentation to integration

So far, the building materials supply chain has tended to be fragmented, with each product category filled by different players. This condition often poses challenges in terms of coordination, cost efficiency, and design consistency.

Through the integration of Quadra, Roman, and Kanmuri, this approach is starting to be directed towards simplifying processes where various material elements, from floor and wall surfaces to roof coverings, can be designed in a unified system.

This concept is translated in an installation titled “Fragments: A Paradox of Synthesis” developed together with Localic Studio. The installation depicts how elements that previously stood alone can be processed into a complete unified space.

Along with the growth of the property sector and the increasing complexity of building designs, the need for efficient and flexible solutions is becoming increasingly important. Industry players are not only required to present quality products but also to provide ease of implementation.

In this context, strengthening the product portfolio becomes part of the strategy to complete market needs. Quadra, for example, is starting to expand its product range to more flexible sizes, while Roman is developing decorative elements to enrich design options. On the other hand, Kanmuri is presenting aesthetic variations in the roof covering segment.

However, these steps do not stand alone but are part of efforts to build a more integrated system.

This strengthening of synergy between brands reflects a new direction in the national building materials industry, where collaboration becomes the key to increasing competitiveness.
