Integrated Transportation, Connected Mobility (Part 1)

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for 2025, more than seven million people undertake daily commutes, the majority originating from the Jabodetabek agglomeration area. The scale of this movement demands a public transportation system capable of addressing travel needs more efficiently and with greater connectivity. In this segment, two stories from public transport users are presented, who utilise KRL, MRT, LRT Jabodebek, and Transjakarta modes. The experiences of these users reflect how Jakarta’s transportation system is continuously being built and reinforced through various policies.
