Ahead of the 2026 Eid holiday, the Citra Maja City independent city area in Lebak, Banten, is positioning itself as an alternative recreation destination for Jabodetabek residents. Utilising an integrated city concept, this Ciputra Group project relies on the convenience of public transportation access via the KRL Commuter Line to attract family tourist visits.

One of the main attractions in this 2,000-hectare area is Tera Garden, a family entertainment park offering open green space with various themed rides. Its location just 500 metres from Maja Station makes this destination easily accessible for people wanting to avoid congestion during the Eid holiday period.

Tera Garden Citra Maja City Manager Agus Winarno explained that the recreation area is currently preparing for an increase in visitors by conducting facility maintenance. “Currently, Tera Garden is in maintenance phase and will reopen on 18 March 2026. We are also preparing attractive promotions for the Eid holiday period until 5 April 2026, with ticket prices starting from 25,000 rupiah per person,” Agus stated on Friday (13 March 2026).

During the Eid promotion period, the operator is offering an “All Rides” package at 90,000 rupiah per person. Available facilities include a children’s play area, thematic parks for photography, and open green space for relaxation. In addition to rides, visitors can enjoy a variety of food and beverage options from various tenants available within the integrated area.

The development of this recreation facility is part of the philosophy of Ciputra Group’s founder, the late Ciputra, namely “Creating Cities, Weaving Lives.” This concept emphasises that independent city development is not limited solely to residential areas, but also the creation of sustainable life ecosystems.

Citra Maja City continues to develop as a new growth centre in the western Jakarta region. Proximity to mass transportation infrastructure such as the KRL is a key selling point, both for residents and tourists. This aligns with the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) trend that facilitates cross-regional mobility without reliance on private vehicles.

Going forward, Ciputra Group will add commercial facilities and public spaces to enhance quality of life at Citra Maja City, making it a dynamic independent city where people can live, work, and holiday within one integrated area.
