Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Duty Officer of the Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal Service Post (PA Posyan TTPG), Iptu Iwa Hertiwa, stated that up to one day before Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah or 2026, no criminal acts or reports from the public have been found. He noted that the security situation at the terminal remains safe and under control during the Eid mudik period. “From H minus seven until today, the situation is safe and controlled, with no criminal incidents or complaints of lost items and the like,” Iwa said when interviewed by ANTARA in the TTPG departure waiting room on Friday afternoon. He explained that to anticipate potential security disruptions, officers remain fully alert every day with two work schedules until 27 March. A total of 59 personnel are on duty in the morning shift from 08:00 to 20:00 WIB, while another 49 personnel guard the night shift from 20:00 to 08:00 WIB. Dozens of these personnel are deployed to several strategic points within the terminal area to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers. In addition, the police are coordinating with national police headquarters to anticipate potential security threats. “We are also coordinating with national police headquarters to bring in the Bomb Disposal Unit (Jibom) and K9 teams to conduct random checks on luggage during peak departure hours, but only if threat indicators are found,” he said. The TTPG PA Posyan urged the public who become victims of crimes to immediately report to the service post in the departure waiting room. Similarly, if items are lost, police officers will assist in following up with transportation agency (dishub) personnel, who manage the terminal’s operations.
