Integrated Public Communication Key to Bolstering Trust in Prabowo's Government, Says Lawmaker

A member of the House of Representatives (DPR RI), Rizki Faisal, has stated that consistent public communication regarding policies by the Red and White Cabinet, aligned with President Prabowo Subianto’s vision, can serve as a pillar of public trust in the government. With integrated communication, he believes the President’s various strategic programmes will be more easily understood by the public, allowing trust to continue to increase.

“President Prabowo’s administration requires collective work, not only in executing programmes but also in explaining successes and addressing various dynamics in the public sphere,” Rizki said in a statement in Jakarta on Saturday. He made the statement after reviewing digital monitoring results released by Sintesa Strategi Indonesia (SSI), which recorded that public perception of President Prabowo is still dominated by positive sentiment at 41.5 percent, higher than the negative sentiment figure of 13.8 percent. Meanwhile, 44.7 percent of conversations were neutral.

The SSI research was based on monitoring of platforms X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and online media during the period of 5 June to 2 July 2026. According to Rizki, these findings show that public trust in the President remains intact, although there is room that needs to be continuously strengthened through more effective communication.

Furthermore, the research also noted that the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, is the cabinet figure with the largest contribution of positive sentiment towards the President’s image within the highest exposure group. For this reason, he believes there needs to be a strengthening of collective communication by cabinet members so that the success of government programmes can be conveyed more evenly to the public. “The more solid the government’s communication, the stronger the public’s trust in the state,” said Rizki.
