Jakarta (ANTARA) - An integrated digital platform is increasingly facilitating micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in managing business operations, from sales, payments, logistics to financial recording within a single system.

In line with this, RUN System and Exabytes Indonesia have established a strategic partnership to integrate the Accounting+ financial management platform with Exabytes’ online store website services.

The collaboration is aimed at supporting MSMEs through an integrated digital ecosystem by combining instant website services and more comprehensive financial management systems.

“MSMEs today need more than just an online presence; they require interconnected systems so that businesses can run smoothly and grow,” said Country Manager of Exabytes Indonesia, Urip Indra Hartawan, in a press release on Wednesday.

According to him, this step aligns with the Asta Cita vision in promoting MSME digitalisation and more equitable economic growth in Indonesia.

The integration also complements Exabytes’ ecosystem, which already includes a payment gateway system as well as logistics management in partnership with various brands in Indonesia.

Features offered in Accounting+ include bookkeeping, financial reports, and business insights, which are considered important but not yet optimally utilised by many MSMEs.

By combining these features into one ecosystem, business actors can simplify operational processes, reduce manual work, and make data-based business decisions.

“Together with Exabytes, we are presenting a solution that integrates financial management directly into the daily operational activities of MSMEs, so they can run their businesses more efficiently and directedly,” said Corporate Secretary of RUN System, Aryo Ramandito.

Indonesia currently has more than 65 million MSMEs that contribute more than 60 percent to the national Gross Domestic Product as well as absorbing around 97 percent of the workforce.

On the other hand, more than 70 percent of Indonesian consumers also tend to search for and evaluate businesses online before making purchases, while many MSMEs still face challenges in managing various separate tools between sales, payments, logistics, and accounting.

Through this initiative, both companies affirm their commitment to supporting Indonesia’s digital economic growth by equipping MSMEs with relevant, integrated solutions ready to face competition in the digital era.
