Insurance firm opens hotel
JAKARTA (JP): Asuransi Jiwa Bersama Bumiputra 1912, a mutual insurance company, will open a three-star hotel in Depok, West Java, next week.
The company's president, Suratno Hadisuwito, said here yesterday that Hotel Bumi Wiyata will be operated by PT Sarana Horeca Tiara, a private hotel management company.
The hotel, constructed with an investment of Rp 22 billion (US$10.34 million), will offer 78 rooms of standard, superior and suite types.
The company owns a 65 percent stake in PT Bumi Modern Hyatt, which operates the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Surabaya, East Java. (icn)
