MINA — The Inspectorate General of Indonesia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah continues to monitor Hajj pilgrim services in Mina, with oversight intensified as all pilgrims gather there during Tasyrik days. Regional Inspector III Mulyadi Nurdin explained that the internal oversight team under Inspector General Major General (Ret) Dendi Suryadi continues monitoring functions until the completion of Hajj rituals. ‘In line with regulatory mandates, the internal oversight team from the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will continue monitoring staff performance and Hajj services throughout the pilgrimage process,’ said Mulyadi Nurdin. The Lemhannas RI graduate added that service aspects monitored include transportation, catering, accommodation (tents in Mina), contract compliance, and on-ground implementation. Mulyadi, who serves as Technical Controller in the oversight team, added that monitored aspects include field staff performance, service effectiveness, staff numbers, and pilgrim satisfaction. He explained that all services provided to Indonesian Hajj pilgrims are based on contracts between the Ministry and providers such as Syarikah Dhuyuful Bait (Al Bait Guests), Syarikah Rakeen Masyariq, and other contractors for catering, transportation, and accommodation. ‘Contracts signed between the Ministry and providers will be the primary reference for on-ground oversight,’ Mulyadi Nurdin said. Technically, Mulyadi explained that during oversight, the team is divided into two major units, each monitoring services according to assigned locations and headquarters, all operating under a single command led directly by Inspector General Dendi Suryadi. He stated that all findings from the oversight will be reported to the Minister and Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah for evaluation, follow-up actions, and recommendations for next year’s improved services. ‘As the eyes and ears of the Minister and Deputy Minister, the oversight team will provide comprehensive inspection reports whenever required,’ he said.
