Inspector General Daniel Leads Handover and Installation Ceremony for New Bali Police Officials
Bali Police Department has conducted another organisational rotation and refresh. The position rotations are part of the Indonesian National Police’s (Polri) organisational dynamics to develop personnel careers and enhance service performance for the public.
Bali Police Chief, Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya, personally led the handover and installation ceremony for several new officials. The solemn ceremony took place at the Presisi Building of Bali Police Department on Friday, 29 May 2026.
“Positions are a trust that must be accountable to the organisation, the public, and God,” Daniel stated on Friday.
Several strategic replacements and new appointments were made. The Bali Police Criminal Investigation Director (Dirreskrimum) was handed over from former Chief Commissioner I Gede Adhi Mulyawarman to new appointee Chief Commissioner Lintar Mahardhono.
Additionally, the mid-level officer position of Assistant Commissioner Ida Bagus Dedi Januarta, previously serving as Kayanma of Bali Police Department, has been officially replaced by Inspector I Nyoman Karang Adiputra.
Additionally, the position of General Secretariat Head (Kasetum) of Bali Police Department is now held by Assistant Commissioner Ismi Rahayu, replacing the previous official who has retired.
During the event, Daniel praised the outgoing officials for their dedication, loyalty, and service to Bali Police Department, noting their positive contributions to the institution and Bali’s public safety.
Daniel urged the newly appointed officials to quickly adapt to their new roles and work environment, hoping they would innovate, maintain unity, and adhere to Polri’s Presisi values (predictive, accountable, transparent, and fair) in their duties.
“Provide the best service so that the presence of the police is always felt beneficial by Bali’s public,” Daniel concluded.
