Inside the Muara Enim Regent's Office Sealed by the KPK

Investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) sealed a room within the Department of Education and Culture in Muara Enim, South Sumatra, on Monday (8/6/2026). The KPK detained the Regent of Muara Enim, Edsion, along with four individuals from the Muara Enim Regency Government and five individuals from the private sector in connection with a sting operation (OTT) conducted in the region. The sealing of the Regent’s workspace follows the coordinated law enforcement action aimed at addressing corruption within the local administration.
