Inside the Luxury Cibinong Prison: Alcohol, Plush Mattresses, and Sultan-style Sofas Discovered

Members of Commission XIII, including Deputy Chairwoman Dewi Asmara, accompanied by the Director General of Corrections, Mashudi, visited the Class IIA Cibinong Prison in Pondok Rajeg, Bogor, on Wednesday afternoon following findings of luxury facilities within the facility.

Inside the building, various residential amenities were found to be fully intact, including refrigerators, televisions, mattresses, and sofas. Commission XIII also discovered several bottles of beer inside a refrigerator within one of the prison cells.

In addition to inspecting the contents of the building, Commission XIII urged the Director General of Corrections to carry out the dismantling of these luxury facilities on the same day.
