Input for soccer
Input for soccer
From Kompas
I am very concerned about the development of soccer in this country. Indonesia's soccer performance has been very low in Asia, let alone in the rest of the world.
I am aware that in the past Indonesian soccer achieved a brilliant success in Asia. As a soccer fan, I would like to give some input into the Indonesian Soccer Association (PSSI). First, the players should be at least 1.8 meters tall. Look at the Japanese or Korean soccer players who average that height. The first selection should be done in the provinces, and further selections should be conducted in the cities to get the desired number of qualified players.
Second, we should use foreign and professional coaches, or an active player from the European leagues. The coach should be involved in the selection of players at the national level.
