Innovation at Petrokimia Gresik Wins BUMN Award 2026
Jakarta – Petrokimia Gresik, an agroindustrial solutions company under the Pupuk Indonesia holding, has won two awards in the Best CEO and Corporate categories at the 15th BUMN Awards 2026.
The awards include Best CEO Visionary Leadership, presented to Petrokimia Gresik Chief Executive Officer Daconi Khotob, recognising his ability to introduce innovation and long-term sustainable strategies for the company’s growth.
Additionally, the state-owned fertiliser producer also received the Best Corporate Growth Strategy award.
“This award is recognition of the company’s success in executing long-term business strategies,” said Petrokimia Gresik Chief Executive Officer Daconi Khotob.
This, he added, aligns with management’s commitment to consistently adhere to the best vision to maintain the company’s competitiveness in the future.
He emphasised that Petrokimia Gresik is committed to contributing to the advancement of Indonesian agriculture and the domestic chemical industry. To achieve this objective, the company is implementing various sustainable business development strategies.
These strategies include developing fertiliser production lines to support national food security, developing related chemical products in line with government programmes to promote industrial downstream integration, and developing new factories and upgrading existing factories and facilities.
In accordance with these strategies, the company is also preparing several strategic projects to strengthen production capacity and endeavour to increase the competitiveness of the national fertiliser industry whilst supporting Indonesia’s food security.
“Besides strengthening the core fertiliser business to support national food security programmes, Petrokimia Gresik is also developing various medium and long-term strategic projects,” he said.
Khotob added that besides business aspects, Petrokimia Gresik continues to strengthen corporate governance, innovation culture, and the development of superior human resources.
All these efforts are implemented whilst prioritising occupational safety principles, environmental sustainability, and good governance as the foundation of company operations.
According to him, Petrokimia Gresik’s participation in the BUMN Awards 2026, held on 10 March 2026, represents an opportunity for the company to demonstrate its commitment to building strong corporate governance, increasing national industrial competitiveness, and creating sustainable economic value for Indonesia.
