Additionally, an introduction to the integration method of lean management and smart factory was conducted, along with case study presentations from companies that have successfully adopted smart factories. These achievements are the result of the ODA programme ‘Implementation of Smart Factory and Expert Development for Indonesian Industrial Transformation’, which has been run by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups of Korea and the Innobiz Association since 2023. Special Staff to the Minister of SMEs for Green Economy, Cooperation and Foreign Financing, Triana Krisandini Tanjung, stated that in line with the spirit of ‘Organising Data, Eliminating Waste, Building a Smart Factory’, digital transformation must be understood as a comprehensive strategy. This is to increase the productivity, efficiency, and business sustainability of Indonesian MSMEs, as well as to support the expansion of digital transformation among Indonesian MSMEs and Cooperatives.
