Inmates moved to new facility

BANDAR LAMPUNG, Lampung: To avoid another jailbreak at the
Kota Agung prison, which presently is under renovation, the
authorities have transferred 20 inmates to the Rajabasa
correctional facility in BandarLampung, Antara reported
yesterday.

Eight prisoners escaped on Tuesday, but two of them were later
captured, while six others were believed to be still roaming in
the dense forests of Lampung.

The prisoners transferred on Wednesday were serving terms for
various criminal offenses. They were taken in a heavily-guarded
bus, the report said, adding that Kota Agung prison now
accommodates only 53 inmates.

The six jail breakers still at large have been identified as
Bambang Supriyanto, Supri, Karman, Ibrahim, Sudirosi, and
Irfan. (03)
