An INKA commuter train has experienced another disruption, this time stopping at Pasar Minggu Station in South Jakarta.

A passenger named Haris said the train had stopped on track 4 at Pasar Minggu Station. Passengers then got off and transferred to another commuter train on platform 3.

“The INKA train that broke down stopped at Pasar Minggu Station. The passengers transferred to another train,” Haris said when contacted on Wednesday (14 October 2026).

Haris said the train had reportedly begun experiencing problems at Cikini Station. When it reached Pasar Minggu Station, the fault recurred and the doors could not be closed.

“I was told the train’s doors started having problems at Cikini,” he said.

“When it reached Pasar Minggu, it had another problem and the doors could not close, so passengers were told to get off,” Haris added.

As a result of the disruption, passengers had to transfer to another commuter train to continue their journey towards Bogor.

Earlier, the doors on INKA electric commuter train No. 1382, operating on the Jakarta Kota–Bogor route, became stuck and could not be closed on Friday (9 October). The door on the second carriage of trainset CLI-225 jammed as it arrived at Tanjung Barat Station in South Jakarta.

The train was allowed to continue to Depok Station, with the faulty door monitored by an on-board security officer (walka). The train’s speed was restricted to 30 kilometres per hour during the journey.

The disruption caused nine services on the Jakarta Kota–Bogor and Jakarta Kota–Nambo routes to be delayed by between nine and 32 minutes.
