InJourney's Strategy to Strengthen Indonesia's Aviation and Tourism Ecosystem, Driving National Economic Growth

InJourney is a state-owned enterprise (SOE) holding company for the aviation and tourism industry in Indonesia, established in 2022. The primary objective of forming this SOE is to develop an integrated tourism ecosystem to accelerate the recovery and growth of Indonesia’s tourism sector.

InJourney CEO, Maya Watono, explained that there are at least six business lines in aviation and tourism under InJourney’s auspices. She stated that there are many challenges that must be overcome to integrate these six business lines, in order to make Indonesia a world-class aviation hub and tourist destination.
