InJourney Prepares Hotels and Buses for Passengers Affected by Volcanic Ash Flight Disruptions
PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (Persero), also known as InJourney Airports, is preparing buses and hotel accommodations for passengers affected by flight disruptions at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. These facilities are part of the Service Recovery Activation (SRA) implemented following the temporary closure of the airport due to indications of volcanic ash dispersal.
Corporate Secretary Group Head of InJourney Airports, Arie Ahsaanurrohim, stated that the company has activated procedures to handle affected passengers through the SRA at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. “InJourney Airports has activated passenger handling procedures through Service Recovery Activation (SRA) at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport,” Arie said in a written statement on Sunday (6/9/2026).
Through this service, InJourney Airports is providing buses to transport affected passengers to hotels. These transfers are being coordinated in conjunction with various airlines.
InJourney Airports is also providing meals and light refreshments for affected passengers. Several dedicated areas within the terminals have been prepared to provide services to passengers during the flight disruptions.
The SRA services will also be implemented at other airports impacted by the ripple effects of the ‘Aerodrome Closed’ status at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and Radin Inten II Airport in Lampung. This measure is being taken to ensure that all affected passengers continue to receive adequate assistance during the period of flight disruption.
