InJourney Commits to Strengthening Tourism in Indonesia
Jakarta (ANTARA) - InJourney’s Commercial Director Veronica H. Sisilia has expressed the company’s commitment to strengthening Indonesia’s tourism sector through various strategies and collaborative efforts.
“InJourney is committed to building a stronger and more connected tourism ecosystem,” Veronica said during a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Veronica explained that as the state-owned holding for the aviation and tourism sector under Danantara, PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia or InJourney has a strategic mandate to orchestrate the national tourism ecosystem in an integrated manner.
In this regard, InJourney’s collaboration with partners such as Klook represents a strategic step to expand the exposure of Indonesian destinations through relevant global digital channels that align with modern tourist behaviour.
This synergy is not only aimed at increasing destination visibility but also at encouraging visit conversions through the promotion of tourism activities, local experiences, and more convenient travel packages.
This initiative is expected to strengthen Indonesia’s position as a flagship destination that is not only rich in attractions but also increasingly accessible within the global digital travel ecosystem.
Veronica also emphasised the importance of delivering engaging experiences for all tourists from the point of entry into Indonesia.
“We believe this collaboration will create new opportunities to enhance visitor experiences, increase destination exposure, and support the development of Indonesia’s tourism industry,” she said.
