InJourney Airports Prioritises Security at Airports
PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (Persero), operating as InJourney Airports, has confirmed it will continue to prioritise security, safety, and passenger services. This commitment is part of the company’s effort to provide a sense of safety for all passengers.
Corporate Secretary Group Head of InJourney Airports, Arie Ahsanurrohim, stated that to maintain these aspects, personnel including Aviation Security (Avsec) officers are stationed at passenger terminals.
“On Monday evening, 15 June 2026, Avsec officers responded swiftly to a dispute between two individuals in the check-in area of Terminal 3, which had the potential to threaten the security and safety of other airport users,” Arie said in a written statement on Tuesday (16/6/2026).
Meanwhile, Assistant Deputy for Communication & Legal at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Yudistiawan, said Avsec officers carried out rapid handling in accordance with applicable operational standards. The team also coordinated with relevant elements to ensure conditions remained safe, orderly, and conducive without disrupting airport operations or the comfort of other service users.
He confirmed that Soekarno-Hatta Airport will continue to maintain the security, safety, and comfort of all service users in line with prevailing standards.
“Subsequently, the two disputing parties were taken to the Terminal 3 Police Post for mediation and further examination. Passenger service operations continued normally without any disruption to facilities or flight activities,” Yudistiawan concluded.
