InJourney Airports forecasts 3 million passengers during Eid al-Adha long holiday
InJourney Airports projects approximately 3 million passengers across its 37 airports during the period 26 May to 2 June 2026. The national holiday of Eid al-Adha falling on 27–28 May 2026 coincides with the weekend of 30–31 May and the Pancasila Day national holiday on 1 June 2026, expected to drive increased air travel activity. InJourney Airports CEO Mohammad R. Pahlevi stated that all airports have prepared various anticipatory measures to ensure security, flight safety, and passenger service quality remain optimal during the long holiday period. “On 1 June 2026, around 423,000 passengers and 3,000 flights,” he added. Pahlevi assured that air travel through InJourney Airports’ airports would proceed smoothly and comfortably during the Eid al-Adha holiday coinciding with the weekend and Pancasila Day. He noted that airports have adjusted slot times, or flight takeoff and landing schedules, to maintain smooth flight operations during the long holiday period. “Furthermore, all airport staff will serve passengers and airport users with utmost dedication,” he added. He said the company is also strengthening coordination with all stakeholders to ensure seamless passenger departures and arrivals. Surveillance is conducted across all service stages, from check-in, boarding, baggage handling, to the readiness of public transport connected to airports.
